Johnson Rose Corp. improves customer service with an instantaneous shipment image solution by DocuSyst

DocuSyst integrates Infonic Document Manager with Johnson Rose’s business application to improve customer service and expedite shipping claims

Lockport, NY (PRWeb) – February 15, 2008 – DocuSyst, a leading provider of document management solutions in the Buffalo area, has worked together with Johnson Rose’s staff members and their IT consulting company Copeland Data Systems to implement a new shipping process that improves customer service, expedites any claim, and increases communication between Johnson Rose’s shipping department and their customer’s receiving department.

Johnson Rose Corporation, a global supplier of commercial smallwares and cookwares, was in need of solution that would integrate the sending of tracking number(s) and packing slip(s) with a picture(s) of an individual shipment. DocuSyst was able to integrated Infonic Document Manager with Johnson Rose’s existing business application.

The process begins in the packaging department where a digital picture of the order is taken after it has been packaged and skid-mounted. The packager then tags the photos with the order number and imports them into Johnson Rose’s document management repository.

Once the packages have been shipped and processed, their business system automatically finds the photograph(s), attaches them to an email, and sends a shipment notification with the picture(s), packing slip(s), and tracking information attached. The notification is sent to a specific individual in the customer’s receiving department. If a discrepancy exists between the shipment and the digital photographs, all the necessary information is available to expedite any claims.
