Document Scanning Services

One of the most important and time-intensive tasks of electronic data management is creating a conversion process that fits your budget and needs. DocuSyst’s Document Management Team can help reduce your archive quickly and efficiently using the best imaging technology available.

Whether scanning to digital storage, Microfilm, or Microfiche, our imaging equipment can handle any size job. And with our high-end conversion software, all documents are scanned only once and converted to any type to reduce time and costs.

Have your document returned on the following media types:

  • DVD or CDROM

  • Microfilm

  • Microfiche

  • External Hard Drive

  • Have documents sent to online storage space

DocuSyst's team of experts handles all aspects of the scanning process:

  • Document Logging and Collection: We collect your boxes, folders or individual documents and compile a log of all documents received and processed.

  • Preparation: This includes removing of paper clips, post-it notes and attachments, adding separator pages, and preliminary indexing.

  • Scanning: Digital images of paper are captured and sent to either Microfilm or Fiche, digital storage, or both.

  • Document Reassembly: Original documents are reassembled after scanning and returned to the source.

  • Image Enhancement: Various techniques enhance scanned image quality.

  • Organization and OCR: Digital documents are organized using tabs or Tables of Contents (at customer’s request) and then OCR’d so that the text of the document can be searched using Adobe Acrobat Reader or searched using other packages.

  • Delivery: Documents are then returned in their original state or sent for destruction, and the documents are either returned on the specified media or sent for online storage.
